About Me

I am a Mindfulness-based Psychotherapist with a private practice in Holywood, Belfast. I am also a sessional psychotherapist working for Therapy Belfast and The Aisling Centre in Enniskillen.

I am fully accredited with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) I adhere to the professional guidelines and Code of Ethics of the UKCP and the ACPP (Association of Core Process Psychotherapists).

I have a long history of working in the sphere of creativity. I am a practising artist, I have exhibited internationally and worked as a visiting lecturer in Chelsea College of Art, London, and art colleges throughout the UK.

I have an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, London and I have practiced as a ‘process-based’ abstract painter in London for nearly twenty years. I have paintings in several major national and international collections.

Today, I am happy just walking in nature, wild swimming, and caring for my young son, whilst working in an established private practice at home and in Therapy Belfast at 94 University Road, Belfast BT7 1HE.

My painting now has become more of a part-time practice. I am passionate about bringing healing to the community, this is one of the main reasons I returned to Ireland, over the last decade

I have been involved in Men’s work and bringing the work of mentoring young disadvantaged men and boys to Ireland. My vision is to establish a community of like-minded creative practitioners from across the spectrum of healing modalities, in the form of an ecotherapy centre, that offers a wide variety of nature-based and body/movement-oriented therapies, including art therapy, group therapy, music therapy, sound therapy, psychodrama and constellation work, breathwork and meditation.
